What Personal Information does First Capital collect from you?

First Capital collects information in several ways from different parts of our website. First Capital may, from time to time, send you email regarding our services. In addition, if you indicated upon registration that you are interested in receiving offers or information from First Capital or tenants of Place Portobello, we may occasionally send you direct mail about services which we feel may be of interest to you. Only First Capital (or agents working on behalf of First Capital under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings. At any time you can easily edit your First Capital account information to no longer receive such offers and mailings.
How does First Capital protect my personal and business-related information?

Keeping your information private is vitally important to us. As with all information, First Capital will never rent or sell your personal and business-related information without your express permission.
What security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of my information?

First Capital keeps the Personal Information it collects about you confidential. The security of your Personal Information is important to us. Security measures adopted by First Capital include limiting the number of individuals with access to your Personal Information. Any affiliate, supplier, agent, employee or other party performing services on First Capital behalf who gain access or view Personal Information are bound to maintain the confidentiality of all Personal Information and may not use the information for any unauthorized purpose.

Please keep in mind that whenever you disclose Personal Information online – for example on message boards, through email, or in chat areas – that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post Personal Information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Children

This First Capital website is not directed at children and most of the online services that we offer are designed for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. First Capital does not knowingly collect the Personal Information of minors. If you are a minor please do not submit any information or register for this program.

Applicable Law

This Privacy Policy is intended to be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec. Any action which you or any third party may bring in connection with this policy, shall be brought only in the courts of the Province of Quebec, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec.
